Natasha Bertrand throws a little shade on Dilanian's NBC report

Ken Dilanian is dumb. He gets easily spun by Republicans.

Natasha Bertrand is very good and knows her stuff. Look at her throw a little shade on Ken's report:

Senate Intelligence Committee aide tells me, re: NBC story, that right now there is "a common set of facts" that the panel is working with, "and a disagreement about what those facts mean."
They add: "We are closer to the end than the beginning, but we're not wrapping up."

So they are not near the end as Ken's article claims. And....

Re: the headline, "Senate has uncovered no direct evidence of conspiracy between Trump campaign and Russia," same aide says: "the word 'direct' is doing a lot of work here."

So they haven't found an oath between Putin and Trump written in blood. Who cares? The evidence is overwhelming.

The last sentence in Natasha's first tweet directly contradicts Ken's article. He's probably too dumb to notice.

You go to bed in the evening. The night is crisp and clear, but the forecast calls for a cold front to move in and snow to fall overnight. You get up in the morning, and there's a fresh blanket of snow over everything. No direct evidence that it snowed - after all, you were asleep - but you can draw a conclusion.

You look out the front window, and there's a set of tire tracks in the driveway and two sets of footprints. You open the door, and there's your morning paper. Witchcraft! How could you possibly have known your paper was on the porch without seeing the delivery person???

No direct evidence of anything, but you've drawn several defensible conclusions.

Who, when given the choice between his job and his integrity, chose his job.

The pay and perks must be nice but I don't think they'll be worth what you wind up paying for your headlines, Ken. In the end, you'll be just another piece of toilet paper trump flushed down one of his gold toilets.

"right now there is 'a common set of facts' that the panel is working with...."

Republicans and Democrats agreeing to a common set of facts is remarkable in an age that questions objective reality. Parts of the Senate are still functioning!

When three short years ago he was publishing Dilanian's private e-mails on the Intercept in an effort to kill his career (and he almost succeeded)
