Schumer met with Amy McGrath, a Marine veteran-turned 2018 congressional candidate, at Democratic Party headquarters last month to pitch her on running against McConnell. McGrath listened and didn’t rule it out. The Democratic leader first contacted McGrath in December.

1. That's the best thing

that could ever happen to get him out. McConnell is an obstructionist and always has been. Hated President Obama too.

2. No living person has done as much harm to the country as McConnell. It's not even close.

Not even Trump. I know that KY is a long shot, but we still need to give it all we've got. McGrath is really impressive and seems like a very good get if Schumer can get her to agree.

3. McConnell Has Got To Go

It’s not just Mitch McConnell being an obstructionist reactionary; McConnell has shown signs that he could well be connected to the flow of Russian money that flowed to Agent Orange and other Republican candidates and organizations in the last couple of elections.

This is intolerable. It may not legally qualify as treason, but it’s the sort of behavior that no country guarding its sovereignty and its self-determination should tolerate, particularly those governments that aspire to be representative republican governments with elected officials chosen by its own citizens.
