My first thought would be something like a weasel.
Please don't say a cat. I'm sitting here with our rescued Maine Coon and he has his paw on my arm.

(3,784 posts)That's why he doesn't have pets, and that's why there IS no pet that suits him. By my definition, the difference between a pet and just some animal is that a pet is a beloved member of the family. I could see Trump having a trained service animal that would do things for him based on his every whim, but never a pet.
Come to think of it, he already kind of has a service animal that caters to his whims despite the fact that he's incapable of loving it back. We call her Melania.

It's cheap to take care of, he can brand and market his own knock-off, and in a pinch he can throw it.

(20,759 posts)...so there's really no form of life that would be valueless enough to subject to such a toxic influence.
A pet rock would be perfect.

(10,828 posts)Like the one he swooned over during the campaign, the snake invited into the house only to mortally wound its caretaker. So beautiful, he said.
Yeah, that snake. To bite his ugly mug!

(32,080 posts)I used to have one as a pet, and I wouldn't wish Trump on any of them. They do not bite unless provoked, which can be said about most creatures.
