Or if there is, it will not be made public? Does he know something we don't know? Or is it clueless speculation?

(11,578 posts)Trump's goal has always been to prevent Mueller from issuing a report and all of his actions point in that direction. This is not breaking news.

(14,838 posts)He laid out the dots in his confirmation hearing. First, the president can't be indicted while in office. Secondly, if the doj decides to not charge someone, they will seal all investigative materials (unless the target id a dem of course) and not allow release.
Therefore, since they won't be indicting trump, they won't be releasing any investigative materials on him.
Kind of a sweet deal. Don't expect the senate to lift a finger to keep this from happening.
But there are a lot of ways the report could get out. None of them would actually follow DoJ rules though.

(10,842 posts)it will get out to the public, one way or the other. Several Dems have telegraphed that already. Whether they have to sneak it out of the building or memorize it, I don't know. But I think it's safe to say the public will ultimately be informed because the lawlessness is massive.
But then there are some predictions that say Mueller's Report will not be a written report at all but will be presented via a string of indictments. That's fine by me as long as all the usual suspects are rounded up like the thieves/treason-weasels they truly are.
We shall see.
