How is the Du community holding up doing national emergency

We’re ok here I loaded up with more Hershey chocolate bars (symphony my favorite)the large ones. I like to dip the pieces in peanut butter, our sons love the almond bars and my wife just likes plain Hershey, but my wife will break into symphony or almond if no plain Hershey chocolate.

I took the boys to the gym yesterday our sons and their friend. And then we hit Red Robin’s they love cheeseburgers. Oh and stopped at store for dryer sheets they were in stock and fabric softener were not barbaric.

There are hoards of foreigners, rude, refusing to learn the local language, speaking only their own, acting like they own the place when most of them haven't spent ten days here cumulatively. I can understand why the locals here don't often have a high opinion of these Americans, and you find them literally all over the place during tourist season. I end up doing a lot of damage control.

Check out the link to see if one is planned near you. More are added every hour.

"Donald Trump has declared a #FakeNationalEmergency—an illegal power grab from an unhinged man to push his racist, dangerous policies."

"We're mobilizing rapid-response events on Presidents Day—Monday, 2/18—against Trump's fake crisis and racist deportation force and to stand with immigrant, Muslim, and Black and brown communities to stop Trump's dangerous and illegal power grab."

Events will be at noon local time, or a time selected by hosts.
Join a #PresidentsDay protest to fight Trump’s fake crisis and racist deportation force. Use the search tools to find an event near you."

I live in the Philly Suburbs. It seems to be a tradition to wipe out the local grocery store of milk, eggs and bread when bad weather is predicted.

I suppose the same rule applies to a Fake National Emergency.

A friendly tip, use pecan bread.

If the caravans somehow get past Donald Trump's magic wall, we have our back-up: walls of snow. Plenty of hamberders available nearby in case of short rations--McDonald's, Wendy's, Berder King. If desperate, we could go to IHOP. Wait, just been informed the I in IHOP stands for "International." Presume during emergency, our dear leader will force them to become "American Only" House of Pancakes. I guess the Belgian waffles are out of the question.

Oh, no! There's a TACO BELL just down the street! They got in! They. Got. In.

Day two of the "Marauding Hispanic mothers and children" emergency, and our country may never be the same! Crops are being harvested and planted...get this--on schedule; there's not an unclean hotel room to be found anywhere; delicious restaurants are popping up everywhere we look; and most shocking--defenseless American children are learning (gasp!) foreign languages, and even exotic cultures other than their own ancient, revered Amurkin culture.

Why, just yesterday I spotted a horde...well, a group...okay, okay, a couple...of these lawless immigrants crossing the street. They were SO devious! They were using the crosswalk just to trick us, but I know for a fact (because you can always tell with "illegals" ) that they were on their way to a secret MS13 meeting. The woman probably wasn't even really pregnant; in fact she probably had a pillow stuffed with "big" drugs under her shirt. And the guy with her probably wasn't even her son; I'm certain the binky and pull-ups were just part of a clever disguise...just like the stroller.

But they don't fool me. Did you know they use midgets to pass as children? It's true! I saw it on the news. And I always watch the news. In fact I usually just keep it on while I do other stuff, you know? Like while I make dinner, and while I do laundry, and ...and ...and ...

scratchy throat and fever like aches, but I vow to remain strong for the country. I guess the cold my grandsons and daughter had is being passed on to me. I won't hold it against them because they obviously got it from another source that is trying to bring everyone down.

Tomorrow though my daughter does have an appointment at Planned Parenthood for birth control. I guess she will be on the list of subversives.

Our family remains strong. We stocked up on macaroni and cheese yesterday because they were on sale, so we will have for provisions to last for a while.

Being in hurricane land there's always an ample supply of water, batteries, flashlights, easily prepared food, drinks, ice and in this case extra blankets, just in case the power goes out. Prepped battery pack for the mobile and extra food for the fur babies. Manual can opener. Full tank of gas, oil lamps, oil, candles. Just as a bonus I decided to cook a roast with lots of good veggies and have adult beverages at the ready, just in case. So as with most states of emergency, I'm good. If it gets too rough I may have to bake cookies, though.

Almost unflappable. Worst case scenario, I'll take a nap.

Hopefully you and yours will make it through. Hang in there!

My area of PA is about 2100 miles from the extremely dangerous city of El Paso, TX. I *know* that my cold came directly from the hoards of immigrants waiting to invade there. No fear, though. I took some good I took some American elderberry syrup and I am on the mend.

I'm going to Panera later. If I am going to defend myself and my country from this National Emergency, it's going to be with a belly full of broccoli cheddar soup, steak and white cheddar panini, and enough carbs to fuel all of 'Murica. Somebody please cover me.

Note: I will need to watch my DVR'd stock of Goldbergs and American Housewife episodes before I fight. Then we can go back to our National Emergency.

I figured all the Latin music and dances will help me better understand the perpetrators of this emergency. I will be headed back to the gym shortly, to practice my water skills, and listen to a Stephanie Miller Happy Hour pod cast while I swim my laps. I will be honing my skills for keeping my self from drowning because of laughing so hard with my face in the water. They may come in handy somehow in this emergency. Then I will come back and spend the afternoon watching hockey. The real emergency there is that I really don't like either team that is playing, but I will suffer through it, because I like watching hockey.
