Tune into the evening news or listen to news radio or read a newspaper to get your news and you are blissfully unaware of this thwarted MAGA terror attack. On the other hand, there is absolutely no way those same news consumers are not fully versed on every detail of the Smollet story

9. You miss the point

If you visit DU or other news aggregator sites that bring back page stories to our attention you know about it. On the other hand, the evening news views or radio news listeners, or read newspaper readers are blissfully unaware of the thwarted MAGA terrorist attack as it was either not reported or relegated to back page news. Ask them about Smollett and they are intimately familiar with every detail as it has been literally headline news for weeks

I read the Newark Star-Ledger daily

I listen to CBS news radio daily

On and off again I will view the TV news (mostly ABC)


When I consume those sources I am always mindful of what is and isn't' being covered (as sites like DU allow me a much bigger picture of what is happening in the world). If you feel my approach or conclusions are flawed, I have nothing else to add.
