So now that we have two obvious potential SNL cold opens, which one do you think they'll do?

The almost-but-not-quite-yet Hanoi deal, or the Cohen congressional craziness?

In all seriousness, I'm just shaking my head in abject disappointment. It's almost certainly too late for Spanky, but I hope the next president knows not to stage a big summit until AFTER THE DEAL IS SEALED.

...never prepares and never listens to either his diplomats or his intel. He's well known for that -- with him it is a feature, not a bug. His "gut" is what he trusts -- and you know what guts are filled with.

Every single other POTUS in our history has undergone extensive briefing before any foreign encounter, and has sent an advance team to negotiate with their counterparts.

If the republic survives, that's how it will be again.
