"I could never have a chick for a boss"

The year, 1979. I sat down at a lunch table at school with my fellow students and I overheard one guy saying that. No one disagreed, including me ... because I wanted hear what other kind of stuff this alpha-male had to say. He then proceeded to point out the 2 women he wanted to "F." The women worked in the offices of the administration. DOES ANYONE GET IT! Free range sexism. Are things the same today? I believe so: my example, Hillary Clinton .... if you can't "F" them, then "F" them!

4. They're more OK with a horrible male boss than they would be with a competent, friendly female boss

It shows in politics, corporate culture, religion, everywhere.

It's a good thing that people are starting to wake up to this and the implications.

but the underlying sentiment is still there. It's more like "she should smile more (but not too much!)" or "women should wear stiletto heels because it's sexy (but be careful not to look slutty!)." Of course, there are some who are loud and blunt and very proud of their sexism.

me was, and is , a female. This gender crap in the workplace should have become nonsense a long time ago, but it still exists in many places. The fact is that some "bosses" are better than others. Gender has nothing to do with it for normal people.

They are competent and keep me on the straight and narrow (I said something really stupid the other day, and they called me out on it). What's strange is that I can't imagine it any other way. I can't imagine what it would be like if they were male. I don't go around wishing they had dicks. They are who they are, and I like them.
