In today's episode of "Am I a Nazi?"...

I was driving to work this afternoon when I pulled up behind a full-size pickup at an intersection. It was your standard Idaho Full Size Pickup - gun rack, NRA window sticker, sticker saying how much he liked to hunt...you know, nothing too unusual for around here. The license plate, however, was interesting.

STORM 44

During World War II, the Germans developed a new weapon that was issued as the StG 44. The abbreviation breaks out to "sturmgewehr," which translates directly to "storm gun" and indirectly to "assault rifle."

So, my fine fellow liberals, progressives and leftists, if someone's driving around with the name of a Nazi rifle on his license plate, is he a Nazi?

I think the rifle's probably a bit obscure. Could be a reference to Stormfront, though. TwilightZone Mar 2019 #11

Anyone who buys one of those useless pieces of shit - seriously, it's a crap gun - wants the one with the BIG hole in the end that costs $1.75 every time you squeeze the trigger. .44 Magnum really needs to be fired out of a revolver, preferably a stainless-steel one with a seven-inch barrel.

250 miles east of Snoqualmie, an NRA sticker is practically a uniform.

Now, this is what I can't figure out: My company owns a big hotel with four ballrooms. Every year the local chapter of the NRA rents one of them for their annual banquet, and pays us a lot of money for the service. A few months later the local chapter of "Friends of NRA" rents one of our ballrooms for their annual banquet, and pays us even more money because they throw a bigger party. If you are a "friend" of the NRA, why wouldn't you just join the NRA?

NRA stickers coupled with 'License To Hunt Liberals', and those '5.56' stickers (ammunition for the M-16, AR-15, etc) and so on.

Living in urban and suburban areas is no guarantee against the gun-crazies...
