Manaforts sentence is way too light but remember he lost a lot of money and property too.?

And hopefully the judge next week will not make his sentence concurrent, but back to back. Certainly seems to be a separate court system for the privileged in our country. Our politics and laws have knocked me on my ass a few times in the last few years and it is getting harder to get up every time. Being proud of our country is hard lately for me anyway.

My mom agrees with you on the idea that there is a system for the rich and a different system for the poor. That is what she said after I told her that Manafort had been sentenced to only 47 months. Just a few minutes before the sentence was announced she thought he was going to get 3 years. I told her I thought he was going to get at least ten years.

Ellis’ insultingly light sentence of Manafort gives the impression, whether true or not, he was paid off.
