to prison for 4 years and then he will have another sentencing hearing for up to ten years. He is still looking at a long time in prison and if Trump should pardon him, Manafort will be looking at state charges. My thought is that this is the start and someone has to be the first. Stone is next and possibly Gates and Flynn. And than the grand prize, DONALD J TRUMP! Trump knows if he pardons anyone, they have admit their crimes and this put Trump in jeopardy of what we already know! Let's hope the wheel of justice keeps rolling!

But Ellis set Manafort's restitution payment in a range from $6 million to almost $25 million.

This is probably the best place to hit Manafort. He deserves all the prison time coming to him, but taking away the cushy lifestyle he's enjoyed while committing crimes should be key.

(7,528 posts)That would probably punish him more than jail time.
But I'm sure Fox needs guests and the rightwing has no end of speaking tours. And he could "write" a book.
