"SNIP....

When asked if white nationalism was a rising threat in the wake of the attacks on mosques in New Zealand that left 49 people dead, the Washington Post reports President Trump on Friday said: “I don’t really. I think it’s a small group of people that have very, very serious problems.”

Trump called the incident “a terrible thing” and said he had not seen a manifesto, purportedly from one of the attackers, that named him as an inspiration for white identity ideology.

Of course he’s not going to see any problem with it. That’s his base. Racist, repugnant, degenerate deplorables.

According to [the U.S. Anti-Defamation League], right-wing extremists were responsible for 70 percent of the 427 extremist-related killings that occurred in the U.S. in the past 10 years. In 2018, every one of the perpetrators of the 37 extremist-related murders in the U.S. had ties to at least one far-right movement, although one had recently switched to supporting Islamist extremism, the ADL says.

Importantly, the number of incidents of violence perpetrated by the far right is on the rise. The Institute for Economics and Peace noted in its 2018 Global Terrorism Index report that the number of such killings increased from three in 2014 to 17 in 2017.

Meanwhile, Islamist-inspired terrorism appears to be on the wane, with the attempt to create a caliphate in the Middle East roundly defeated and the ideal of pure Islamic statehood losing its attractiveness to the assorted misfits among the West’s Muslim minorities. According to Jane’s Terrorism and Insurgency Center’s Global Attack Index, fatalities linked to Islamic State declined by 51.5 percent in 2018.

5. Trump's New Zealand shooting response doesn't use the word Muslim

https://qz.com/1574282/trumps-new-zealand-shooting-response-doesnt-use-the-word-muslim/

A terrorist attack by a white supremacist at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, has killed 49 people, mostly Muslims, and injured nearly 40 more. An online screed the shooter apparently left behind explained that he was specifically targeting Muslims who invaded “our lands [and] live on our soil” and that it was an “act of revenge against Islam.”

The Trump administration’s condolences have so far failed to use the word “Muslim” or “Islam.” Under Donald Trump, the US government has banned immigration from several Muslim-majority countries, sharply cut the number of Muslim refugees admitted, and used divisive language to criticize the Islamic religions’ nearly two billion followers, in sharp contrast to previous US presidents.

And the NFL send him an imaginary letter,
and he only weighs 239 lbs,
and he never bankrupted any businesses,
and that Mexico will pay for his wall,
and so on ... and so on ... and so on

The words coming out of his mouth are meaningless.

And here in the U.S., tell that to the ghosts of Oklahoma City, and Charleston, and the Wisconsin Sikh temple, and the Pittsburgh synagogue, and Charlottesville, and Louisville, and Austin... on and on it goes.
