Waseem Daraghmeh and his wee girls (New Zealand):

Waseem Daraghmeh, a Muslim barber who immigrated from Jordan 5 years ago for a better life in New Zealand. He and one of his daughters were shot multiple times in today's terror attack in #NewZealand. He & his beautiful daughter are in critical condition.

Please pray for them.

Both in spirit and flesh, the comparison of this horror is unforgettable.

Perhaps that's why so many right-wing psychopaths are so angry - because they are ugly - inside and out. They are inferior and without redemption.

the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, murdering four little girls.

It was abhorrent then. It is more abhorrent now.

My son was texting me from school today that he’d heard about this girl and her father being shot. We have so many friends in NZ and have been there so many times over the years. It is odd that this mass murder has hit him harder than the regular mass murders in this country.

Just got home from swim class. Getting ready for dance class. I saw this story while cooking dinner. Then I just hugged my two girls tight, just now. They are roughly the same age this gentleman’s girls. My girls asked what was going on after I hugged them silently for a good 30 seconds and emerged a bit teary eyed. I said that we are sending out love and positivity to Waseem. My 7 year old asked, “who is Waseem?” I said “just a guy like me with girls like you and they were all hurt by a very disturbed bad guy”. My youngest (4 years old) was asking what happened to them. I said that I would tell her when she was older and we just need to send out our positive energy to Waseem and his girls right now.

can't bring his filthy self to condemn the white terrorists. He says, our Donald...He says it is too early to say if the man was a white supremest. It doesn't matter to our Donald, our filthy Donald, that the guy said that he was a white supremest and that he credited our Donald as being a supporter of white supremacy.
