"...when they low, we go high..." is not a problem for Republicans.

IMO, the Mueller distraction has already helped the Russians and the Republicans muddy the waters through inaction for what's to come in 2020. The partisan political season is heavily upon us. I hope we're paying close attention.

I know Bernie brings this issue up, pretty much at every campaign stop, and I've heard some of the other candidates also do so. I have often wondered if we can sidestep their attempts at suppressing Dem votes by registering as regugs in certain states (as disgusting as that sounds) because in twenty+ states they have open primaries where you can vote for any body in any party. I doubt they would turn away repugs or purge them off the roster like they try to do with us Dems....

If they're allowed to get away with the 2016 election theft, there's no stopping them in 2020 and beyond.
Our chief diplomat is compromised. Also, they have learned from previous mistakes. All they need to do, are these "diplomatic" meetings where Putin and Trump can plot and scheme in private, without listening ears and the interpreter's notes. No need for Eric Prince in Seychelles, Cohen in Prague and Don Jr in Trump tower.
