When something bad happens it's a pretty normal human emotion for many of us to be frustrated, disappointed, and anything but optimistic. But I guess we're just supposed to sit down and shut up because somebody tells us to.

Is it better to scold and shame someone when they're feeling vulnerable... compared to offering encouragement or hope?
