That would put a lot of this to rest.

(130,895 posts)he'll wait to testify (or provide evidence to Congress otherwise.)

(31,261 posts)That inoculates him from any trumpeted up charge that Trump's Justice Department will try.
This should be a wake up call to anyone who don't vote or vote third party because their preferred candidate didn't win the party nomination. Bush was bad, McCain would have been bad as President, but NEITHER of those men represent the threat to our democracy that Trump does. We can't have people throwing a tandrum in 2020 if their candidate does not get nominated, if Trump is reelected, he will view that as an open ticket to do anything that he pleases.

(25,183 posts)That's a lot of denial. Barr may not have reflected every bit of the report, but my guess is that he got the gist of it right. Mueller would have come out TODAY if the report had been misrepresented in any substantial way.
Focus on getting the most electable candidate, and then unifying like hell behind that candidate, no matter who he or she is. That's the only way to get rid of Trump.

(25,183 posts)except for the grand jury testimony (prohibited by law from being disclosed) and maybe a couple of things related to national security, will indeed all come out. And we'll have a second chance to reflect on how Mueller sold us all out.

(248 posts)Didn't Mueller come out of retirement to take role of Special Counsel? He has no reason to stay silent, does he? If Mueller is in on this, I give up. I know, wait for the report, but it all sounds fishy. All of it. Trying not to give up!!
