I believe from congress everything congress, one member officially switched his party, might be 2 or it was one member, it was not more than that. So it is a complete myth that's built on nothing to make people believe that the republicans and democrats switched. When in fact Democrats today are the same party they were throughout the civil rights era. That's what I was referring to. And there's a preview video that further explicates to that. I advise everybody watches."
Her knowledge on this is superficial based on a very narrow timeline. When in fact it was a transition that occurred over decades as each party's ideology solidified their view on civil rights. From WW2 to the southern strategy. The geographical divide was also a factor, which the Southern Strategy capitalized on.
