Made a mistake by not simply walking out in protest and refusing to even entertain Barr's appointment as AG. A statement should have been released regarding the fact that Barr was the only person to write an unsolicited letter against an ongoing investigation and has no right to the appointment. Ultimately, the Senate GOP could confirm him, but it would have been a clear sign that they do not believe his appointment was legitimate.
