The Secretary-position it is, that should be up for debate... maybe Homeland Security or Health and Human Services.

She lacks discipline and I suspect she'll shoot herself in the foot a few more times before getting wise (if ever).

(7,142 posts)There is a concerted effort to get rid of Omar, AOC, and another freshman Congresswoman whose name escapes me. How did she shoot herself in the foot? By allowing Republicans to cut a snippet out of a speech she gave and then mischaracterizing the point she was making about 9/11? Be more specific about how she delivers her messages that is unacceptable.
What does she need to do to get wise? The wise man realizes how ignorant he is.

That's why she drives the right so insane where Omar has, up to this point at least, been a gift to the right.
She doesn't play by their rules - she dares to speak truth

I appreciate the challenges she has overcome to get to.where she is, and that is inspiring. That being said she really really needs to learn to be more aware of how her comments can come across. Like Alexandria, she needs some time to develop her political instincts.
