Didn't Mueller ask for more time?

I'm trying to remember.
And if so, wasn't it therefore ended early?

I just cannot believe and refuse to believe that an investigation this extensive ended up being only 2 years.

Something smells to me.

2. And what were all those cooperation agreements for? Who was the big fish they were going after?

And why let Jared, Ivanka and Don Jr. (let alone Trump) get away without even having to sit down for an interview?

3. The whole thing smells bad. Lots of cover-ups and/or distortions IMO. Far too many trying to keep it

quiet and/or discredit it. The propaganda against the report is pretty intense, probably worse when released. IMO congress should see the entire report without question. Barr, should not be the asshole cover for tRump as AG.

That Mueller himself cannot be trusted.

I want to be proven otherwise.

6. Barr was confirmed as AG on 2/14. Mueller submitted his report on 3/22.

That's 31 days. That would include the time for Mueller to wrap things up and finalize the report -- in other words, Mueller "decided" to end his investigation nearly simultaneously with Barr's confirmation.

On edit: I'm wondering if Trump and Barr think they can prevent Mueller from testifying before a Congress that he was directed to end his investigation.

had to do with a newspaper request for documents, and something about Roger Stone..maybe sentencing? I seem to recall something else, but I don't know....The farmed out cases aren't making any news either. Wonder why that is?

11. He asked for various extensions.

He asked for an extension when the Russians actually fronted a lawyer to challenge an indictment, after trying to disqualify the lawyer's standing an let the indictment just stand unchallenged and without trial. He got the extension.

He asked for extensions to sentencing.

He asked for extensions in the providing of documents under discovery in order to redact some and to make sure that confidential or classified information wasn't turned over.

He asked for an(other) extension to the grand jury. He got it. The default is for 6 months, so the jury's empaneled for quite a while until the judge dismisses it.

13. If Mueller had publicly asked for more time for the investigation it would be easy to google.

There would be links all over the place. If he asked privately and was denied it would be leaked. Was was Barr asked that question when he appeared before Congress two times last week? What was the answer?
