Hardball - Andrew Sullivan bashes Malcolm Nance

Malcolm wasn't there, of course, but his name came up and Sullivan started in on him.

Basically, because I can't give a verbatim account, Sullivan tried his best to discredit Nance.

And he did it by talking over the lady who brought his name up.

On top of that, Sullivan opined with his British accent and zero awareness of irony that the number 1 issue in 2020 will be the need to stem the tide of all these immigrants.

You don't go on TV and trash somebody for no reason. Especially a guy like Malcolm Nance who is a regular commentator on the network, and his reputation is impeccable. Wait until a night when Nance is there to defend himself. Chris Matthews should have cut Sullivan off immediately.

Usually MSNBC has it direct on their site first before it hits Youtube (although maybe Raw Story was the one that put it there). That was pretty mind-boggling but you could tell at the end that Sullivan's HUGE gulp of whatever was left in his HUGE mug was an attempt to cover for the frenzy that he apparently worked himself into in order to give viewers a taste of his masterful performance art.

bought a new car a few years ago and it came with Sirius satellite radio. It started as a free trial, but it's addictive at only $6/month for 140 or so channels. (not sure how old you are, but most of the original MTV VJs are on there now - Alan Hunter, Mark Goodman, Nina Blackwood and a few others)

the rise of white nationalism is happening world wide. Sullivan interrupted and put the blame on immigration so as to take the blame away from white nationalists.

Sullivan is/was a staunch Republican defender who wants to be accepted by them even though they bash gay people like him.

I doubt I could pick his face out if someone showed it to me. He's one of those people on the MSNBC shows that I don't pay much attention to but some other people apparently do.

On the other hand, I have become extremely familiar and continuously impressed by Malcolm Nance.

Bottom line, I trust Malcolm Nance more than I do what's-his-name.

His books have always contained information that was shocking to read (and, frankly, at the time, hard to believe) but then, later on, it's been reported by the media to be completely true.

A recent example was from his last book, "The Plot to Destroy Democracy". I read that book as soon as it came out. He talks about Maria Butina, a person I'd never even heard of, and he describes her relationships with prominent Republicans and the NRA. He nearly comes right out and calls her a Russian spy. I thought that was crazy. There was NO WAY that someone like that could be so obvious with her shady dealings and not be busted. Not eight weeks later, she WAS arrested for being a Russian agent.

I am a huge fan of Malcolm Nance. He knows what he is talking about.
