1. The quality of political news reporting and punditry took a nose dive

early in the George W. Bush era, it was beyond rock-bottom by the time Obama came on the scene, and today I don't even fuck with it anymore.

And it goes without saying that this sharp decline of news quality has an inverse relationship with the rising prominence and popularity of Fox News.

7. How about the Clinton/Lewinski scandal

24/7 from all media for an entire year. Fox calling Michelle "Obama's Baby Mama" also left a permanent bad taste in my mouth.

I've noticed that Trump's appearance hasn't made that much news. What restraint! Real presidential harassment would be speculating that he wears spanx.
