White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been caught saying untrue things many times, but shes often relied on a convenient excuse. We give the best information that we have at the time, has long been a go-to line for Donald Trumps chief spokesperson.
The subtext, which has never been especially subtle, has always been that Sanders doesnt necessarily lie, so much as shes lied to. When the White House press secretary passes along information that proves to be false, its not her fault if shes merely a conduit for others falsehoods ...

(38,958 posts)When was there ever any crediblity?
There was none with Trump before he announced his run, there was none during the campaign and there has been none since he took office. The media just soaked up one bizarre statement after another hoping for headlines and viewers to sell advertising. He played them and they willfully went along, most particularly ALL the 24/7 Breathless, Breaking Cable Noise Infotainment.
I dont consider MSNBC to be a credible news source for anything.
