A few serious thoughts on Trump's plan to settle "illegals" in sanctuary cities.

Well first of all, wouldn't it be illegal?

Second of all, it is totally cockamamie from the point of view that Trump himself supposedly espouses.

Once they are in they are in. For example Chicago is a great central location for heading anywhere in the Midwest where there might be jobs. Yes that includes rural areas and suburbs.

Does he really suppose they will just stay in the city hogging all the welfare? Rather than "stealing our jobs", see?

Or does he just figure his stoopidz supporters will assume that?

I may be overestimating Trump's intelligence, but I expect he will do no such thing and it's all grandstanding.

Even the bluest of cities will have some Trump supporters as well. So screw them too I suppose.

He figures that he will scare people in sanctuary cities that rapists, murderers, and thieves will soon be prowling their streets. We already know that the vast majority of Latin American immigrants are very law abiding, because they want to avoid any trouble with the police. Many tend to find the jobs that most Americans don't want.

It sounds good to his idiot supporters, who are unlikely to give the issue as much thought as you have.

7. I rather doubt that he'll do any such thing...he thought it was a threat

like "ok you bleeding-heart liberals, if you like immigrants so much we will send them all to your "sanctuary cities," how do you like them apples??!?"

Not probably expecting the response to be, as it has in at least a few cases, "OK then, send them to us, that's fine, we will welcome them."

10. Maybe. More likely Trump told Hannity as part of a coordinated effort.

Likewise with Limbaugh who also mentioned it in a big way.

Trump has his own "deep state".

I don't think Trump is smart enough to have come up with it himself. All he thinks about is grabbing pussy and golf. Basically thinking about himself.

His mind is void of logic, knowledge and intelligence. Hence, his supporters lap it up. It was for them.

with other family members or friends that are already living in the US?

We don't (yet) restrict travel in this country. Unless Trump comes up with the funding to imprison every asylum seeker and feed, clothe, educate, provide legal services, medical care, etc., he can't control them after he dumps them off to state controls.

I can't frigging find low voltage cable runners at $27 / hour plus health insurance. Bringing more workers and consumers to a market isn't a punishment.
