Take action before our frog boils. The extent to which this presidency is abnormal boggles the mind.
Trump has tossed our nation into his surreal world view and turned democracy into a helter skelter deviancy.
We have collectively witnessed his abominations through a lens that seems more fictional than possible. His perverseness is such that parents want to cover their children’s eyes and ears. He has those who claim to be the most Christian of Christians hailing his mighty greatness as he grabs women by the pussy as a form of greeting and pontificates on his wishful shooting of someone in Times Square without consequence. He has dishonored soldiers who have “given that last full measure of devotion” and stolen children as a form of policy.
The list of moral horrors attendant to this presidents everyday existence makes a normal person want to take a shower every time they see, hear or smell him. He has convinced an entire political party to surrender integrity, honesty, patriotism, honor and justice. All in the name of gaining some fleeting advantage. A fleeting advantage that will come back to further stain and besmirch what at one time was a viable political choice.
We have been exposed to this vileness for so long now that it has taken on an odd value of normalcy, a stench which no amount of vapo rub can expunge. Our frog is boiling away, as is our sense of direction and what decency and character demand of us.
