16. Why tweet on a subject that isn't even in a bill to vote on?
What's the point? She in the House of Rep. Her job is to read about bills, work with others on bills, and vote. She seems sort of needy in the attention category.
She has a lot of reading to do on bills and such. She keeps revealing her mistaken "knowledge" of what's in a bill she voted against. She voted against the bipartisan budget...that's right...AGAINST reopening the government, because she was mistaken about it. She hadn't taken the time to learn what was in it. |

35. She's trying to attract attention instead of doing her job. She could have sponsored a bill for that
She's tweeting on the story of the moment. One might think she's addicted to attention. Instead of doing that, if she is hot on this issue, she could have written a bill to be presented to the House. That's governing. Tweeting about something she's not involved with...not governing. It's not like anyone asked her opinion.
Like I said, she was spending a lot of time tweeting and making the talk show circuit, before voting AGAINST opening the government, while people were losing their houses, going without medical care, because of not getting paid. She said she voted against it because she wouldn't fund ICE. Thing is, she was wrong. One of the budgets contained NO funding for ICE. She was wrong on the facts. Look beyond the tweets at the substance. |

... a person that stating what I am thinking on a national platform, which is refreshing and I enjoy it. A politician seeking publicity? Well knock me down with a feather. I’m positive she can both tweet her righteous opinions and work for the people simultaneously.
If we wanted quiet and spineless I think Harry Reid is available. |

44. Yeah...there are a lot of people tweeting these days, which is refreshing & enjoyable.
But if one is in Congress and is complaining about a wrong, then I wonder about that, if the Congress person is not actually doing anything about it, which is her job, but just tweeting.
It's not like, say, Schiff, who tweets quite a bit, after he has actually performed official acts that address his concerns. Nothing personal against her. Some other representatives may do this, too. |

4. or you could, ya know,
have some nuance and say prisoners maybe shouldn't be in prison at all, and for those folks, they don't lose their right to vote.
And then for the violent rapists and murderers, yeah, they should lose it until they've served their sentence. AOC is all about the big and brash and no compromise 100%. Well life's not like that most of the time. |

So, lets' start at 50% and hope we bet 25%.
My entire musical life I have been just like her. I am bringing 5 snare drums to a rehearsal Tuesday because I want the BEST/RIGHT SOUND IN THE HALL for the piece. Nobody will know or give a shit except the conductor, a few musicians and ME. I'm doing PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION next week. It famously calls for 'chimes' at the end. Supposed to replicate church bell. I spent $800 on a custom 8 foot chime and a huge bell plate because we could not get a real bell. Here is the Vancouver Symphony’s solution. Relevant section begins at 2:23 and goes to the end. https://www.Here is one porchestra’ And HERE is the Berlin Philharmonic’s solution ! Watch till the end. AOC is NOT the Vancouver Symphony ! I just can't agree with this ridiculous issue/opinion.
Let's try this instead, "Should a nonviolent person stopped w/a dime bag be incarcerated for years and years?" Better yet, "Should a nonviolent person stopped w/a dime bag be incarcerated at all?" (Assuming the dime bag contains pot.) |

As soon as we start drawing a line and separating those entitled to vote from those not entitled, somebody else is gonna come along and start moving that line.
