Mueller is such a straight arrow he would never drive one mph over the speed limit.

That's the problem with the Mueller report. He proved Trump is guilty and then he played it safe. Mueller could have ended this nightmare if he wanted to. He talked code in his report. He was saying this should go to congress for impeachments hearings. He should have been more direct. There must have been big debates between Mueller and his team about how to handle the report. I bet some on his team wanted to be more direct.

We need to hear from Mueller, He has to explain what he was thinking and why he left so many questions unanswered. Only he can clear things up.

I tend to agree. Mueller's task was, first and foremost, to enforce the law. Girard442 Apr 2019 #1

He should have seen it that that happened. Instead he ended up looking like a beancounter.

Then give the information to the prosecutor. Which in this case, is the House of Representatives.

What if Barr actually did close things down early?

If he points his finger at Barr, then we are in next level conspiracy and obstructionism.

Frankly, if he were a Democrat it would have gone the other way. That's what we do. We are so intent on proving our objectivity that we will err in favor of the other side.

Like you said he played it straight. He stayed in his lane and kept to the initial scope of the investigation. Frankly the house needs to get him in there to answer questions about all the redacted shit. Once that's done they need to start up an investigation to follow up and expand on his findings.

Mueller was standing exactly in the same spot as Rosenstein did during this coverup announcement. So, that keeps coming up in my mind.

Mueller indicted Trump in that report and then he would not directly say it. He should have at least put forth a recommendation on what to do with his indictment.

Sorry, this man had an opportunity to be a hero. He could have saved this country from a free fall into dictatorship. He chose to play it safe. I have no admiration for him.
