Starting with a reasonable assumption that Trump gets voted out of office...

How long will it take for the country to get back on track? Or will it ever; are we permanently damaged? Add in how likely it is the repugs lose control of the senate, so that whether or not McConnell gets the boot at least he’d be defanged?

I still think our best hope is they wheel Trump out to a rubber room or he just croaks from a heart attack or stroke. Even if he loses in a landslide I could see him trying to comvince his followers that the election has been stolen. Actually I’m pretty convinced that’s the way it’ll go, including him inciting them to violence. God save the USA.
