Oliver Willis April 28, 2019
Mitch McConnell is the most unpopular person in the entire United States Senate.
A new poll from Morning Consult found that the Republican majority leader from Kentucky has the highest disapproval rating out of the 100 senators in the legislative body. McConnell has a 50 percent disapproval rating, with only 36 percent of respondents saying they approve of the job he is doing.
McConnell is the only senator in the entire survey whose home state voters registered a disapproval rate as high as 50 percent.
McConnell recently announced that he would be running for reelection in 2020 for his sixth election since first winning in 1984.

And this assholes outright arrogance when he stated this;
_snip-
McConnell recently vowed that if Trump lose his reelection campaign in 2020 to a Democrat, McConnell would block their agenda, even if it has the support of the majority of American voters.
If Im still the majority leader in the Senate [in 2020], think of me as the Grim Reaper, McConnell told voters in Owensboro, Kentucky, on Monday. None of that stuff is going to pass.
He has now said that he will openly continue to break the "rule of Law or the Constitution, hey Kentucky, is that how you were raised....................to have some asshole break the rule of law of a democracy.....................he is in lock step to support a known criminal enterprise sitting in the white house, and you and me and the country have to pay for it........................I think we deserve better..................................don't you?

(1,648 posts)Is if he has already been assured by the Russians that they have will take care of his re-election.
Until the News Networks start reporting about the Republican binds to Russia, then nothing changes. Oh and those republican ties to Russia are a big part of what is holding up Trump's removal... Both with his replacement and the Republican Party covering up that they sold America out to Russia. Have you wondered if part of Mueller only reporting what he had found was due to how far the investigation was continuing to link the Republican Party to Russia and the corruption within the Republican Party itself?
Is that why it had to become a 'political' resolution, while certain republicans step down and are told to just go away or suddenly lose special favor in the Republican Party?
