Regarding this infrastructure "deal"

This is a man who thinks Nazis are fine people and tears children away from their mother's arms. Some to never be reunited. Some are sexually abused. Some have died.

Why negotiate with him and give him legitimacy?

Schumer said one way to pay for this would be repealing the GOP tax cuts for the rich. The GOP would never agree to that.

My feeling is that this offer will divide the GOP with the more lunatic among them refusing to vote for anything Pelosi passes in the House.

Trump has no legitimacy among thinking voters.

Trump, the GOP, and their donors will demand waivers for environmental regulations and cuts in social programs and subsidies that help citizens to pay for it. While Trump would love to see trillions of dollars of taxpayer funded projects emblazoned with the TRUMP name, there is no deal.
