nomination? I'm kinda surprised. After all he was on the ticket in 2016 as VP. Wouldn't you think he'd be interested given the fact that Hillary and him had won the popular vote?

(6,829 posts)HRC needed a dynamic, charismatic VP choice. Instead she picked Kaine - who had no original ideas or fire.
I'm so relieved he opted out of running for the 2020 Presidential election. He would have ignited bitter arguments I'm glad we're not re-hashing.
Dont get me wrong, I like him. He's just underwhelming
I remember being sickened when Hillary picked him as VP. I was like "who?". I had never heard of the guy and I follow politics fairly closely, definitely more than the average person. If I had no clue who he was, a vast majority of people definitely hadn't heard of him. I'm sure he's a good guy, but I don't think he's the type for the presidency.
