Cathy Garnaat, a Republican who supported Amash and the president said she was upset about Amashs position but wanted to hear his reasoning. She said that she will definitely support Trump in 2020 but that Tuesday night was the first time she had heard that the Mueller report didnt completely exonerate the president.

(2,785 posts)She must've of known not to listen them. Which means she made a decision at some point to retreat to her own bubble therefore she was willfully ignorant. She wasn't ignorant on accident, but she chose to be ignorant.

What he says, what he does, the blatant lies, the pandering to our enemies, the huge evangelical support, the blatant racism, and even most of my family - leave me questioning myself. What am I missing. Living in rural Central Texas most of my neighbors actually think Trump is the best President in their lifetime.

The open, blatant racism is a huge part of Trump's appeal for the racist core of the GOP.
