Cereal - a box of cereal, 2.99 a few months ago - now over 4.00 a box. Tariffs???

I love to shop at Sprouts - like a far lower priced Whole Foods. I get a flake type cereal, and a Go Lean crunch - up until a few months ago, in the high 2s or low 3s per box. Went a few days ago - 4.29 for those same boxes of cereal....a big container of Tillamook ice cream was 3.99 - great ice cream less than a box of cereal? Got to be the orange asshole's brilliant tariff idea, right? I've not really noticed other impacts at this point, but...cereal?!

seemed like I saw some pretty high prices for frozen meals. Even milk--which supposedly is still in overproduction, is up at least 70 cents/gallon. Sadly to the latter, I doubt any of that is making its way to the dairy farmer.

Clothing, food, and every other essential is going to go way up--between China and Mexico.

I won't say what I want to say, but I'm guessing most here know...

For ingredients to get to processing center and then product to be shipped.

I guess it depends on where the ingredients come from, etc.

the ingredients in your cereal were subject to tariffs. That said, you got a sweet deal on the Tillamook ice cream, even on sale, it's 4.99 here, and I'm damned lucky to have it on the east coast!

Which flavor did you go for? I picked up vanilla bean and mint chocolate chip tonight.

closed from midnight to six in the morning. Except for Christmas Christmas Walmart NEVER shuts. I am wondering if they were doing price changes?

Except for two or three stores, all the Wal-Marts in the Las Vegas Valley are now closed from midnight to six. Same with most of the grocery chains here, when they used to be open 24 hours. Kind of a hassle in when you work graveyard and live in a town where pretty much everything is expected to be accessible 24/7. Thank goodness for WinCo.

I can still buy some Organic but it is pricey. I pay with 2 twenties and have just a couple little bags of things.
