I'm proud to live in a country whose leader flies overseas just for the very important job of...

...rage tweeting about Bette Midler.

I mean...can anyone tell me why he is rage tweeting about Bette Midler?

Honestly I’m sure it’s not important why the supposed free leader of the world is spending his time as Statesman in Chief rage tweeting about Bette Midler.

But I still sort of want an explanation as to exactly why now he has chosen to rage tweet about Bette Midler.

He could be tweeting there or here - at least he's in a location where protesters are allowed to protest in mass. I like it when he travels after Obama was our president. The rest of the world is smart enough to know we are all not like him.

Politicians didn’t tweet. It was Trump who single handed brought politics and the presidency down into the gutter.

11. I think he mostly does it for the publicity. Who would care if he attacked Jane Q. Public?

He attacks a famous person, he gets more famous, in his mind. Kind of a Mark David Chapman approach to fame, I guess.

Also, Bette Midler is a famous uppity woman He hates that.

My feelings are hurt. Yesterday I wrote on DU yesterday...

"What about her tubby dad?
His white "waist coat" seems too long and his "cutaway" coat too short. It emphasizes his girth."

I guess he doesn't read DU posts...

Not that Midler is "soft" or incapable of handling herself, but she's not in any position to jeopardize anything financially or politically for him.

And he'd much rather be a celebrity on a reality show than president.

celebrities are the most important people on Earth. His celebrity as POTUS is FAR more important than the position's power, responsibility, or danger.
