(182,877 posts)They called them "brain buckets" (Army humor - bonfire my time) but they were very versatile, held parts during repairs, a bath, use them to dig a hole, you could even boil water or cook in them

(6,045 posts)Whats the deal with the name Karen all of a sudden seeming to pop up everywhere being used in a generic form but so much so that it has a deeper meaning?
...🤔😳🤔🙄

(15,812 posts)Karen is a typical entitled white woman, inconvenienced by everything and everyone. She will likely have an asymmetrical haircut.
Im sure there is more to it but thats the best I can do.
Hestia
(3,818 posts)so there are a lot of Karen's born in that time frame, lots of girls being named after grandma or mom, you know, is what is keeping the name going on - being a Karen and all, I certainly am not entitled.

(2,697 posts)Seems the only time I hear that name is when I'm watching -- or re-watching - that movie. Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) calls her by name, "Karen", maybe a dozen times.

(3,818 posts)...Hey, that description would fit PRECISELY in how Ive seen it used!
...Not only that, but it also IDs so many of the entitled white women this white white boy from the south side of the ATL knows from the north side!😳 YIKES!!
Not to say there isnt entitled white folks on the south side but if your familiar with the ATL then you know it dont compare!🤪
...Thanks for enlightening me!
