which drives up the cost all kinds of assets, leads to "investments" and profit-taking from all kinds of businesses (like retail) and in general distorts the magical market 6 ways from sunday. Nobody is content with, say, a 5% profit per year, no! they want to make a killing. And that is what they are doing.
