This situation in Oregon State..

Where Para-Military groups have offered aid to the Legislators who refused to vote in the State House on a Climate Change Bill a couple of days ago. Why? Because they knew they would lose the vote... The State Gov or perhaps someone else has threatened to send police to force them back to the State House and vote.

With that threat para-military groups have offered to defend the republicans from being dragged back to the Capital..

And thats the dangerous part... My fear is the fact that we are probably gonna begin seeing strength in numbers of paramilitary organizations across our country. Similar to incident in Oregon a couple of years ago. Very Dangerous..

I read a post today here, that compared the paramilitary situation here in the states to the paramilitary units which were the first to support Hitler way before he took power.. Frightening.. Hateful, racists, antisemitic, Xenophobic groups were the first to put together the paramilitary units which hitler first used to fuel his insanity!
I think our country is ripe for this kind of situation....So many dangerous haters ready to roll.. Realize that this was not written well,,, But I had very little time to do this.. I'm getting more frightened and pissed by the day.

by family who live up there.

I would be shocked if the Bundys of the last standoff were not involved.
They seem to have the need to stomp and growl and bluster every so often.

In December 2018, Bundy disavowed the militia movement due to his lack of support for President Donald Trump's immigration policy, specifically regarding the Central American migrant caravan. He said, "To group them all up like, frankly, our president has done — you know, trying to speak respectfully — but he has basically called them all criminals and said they’re not coming in here. What about individuals, those who have come for reasons of need for their families, you know, the fathers and mothers and children that come here and were willing to go through the process to apply for asylum so they can come into this country and benefit from not having to be oppressed continually?" Bundy also claimed that nationalism does not equal patriotism and compared the modern-day United States to 1930s Nazi Germany.[88][89]

He got death threats, of course
But it was quite the turnaround for a hothead militia dumbass

Than the governor mobilizes state law enforcement and calls in the National Guard.

Treason and riot is just that. See:

[link:https://law.justia.com/codes/oregon/2017/volume-04/chapter-166/|]

Universal Citation: OR Rev Stat § 166.005 (2017)
(1) A person commits the crime of treason if the person levies war against the State of Oregon or adheres to its enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
(2) No person shall be convicted of treason unless upon the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act or upon confession in open court.
(3) A person convicted of treason shall be punished by imprisonment for life. [1971 c.743 §217]

and

Universal Citation: OR Rev Stat § 166.015 (2017)
(1) A person commits the crime of riot if while participating with five or more other persons the person engages in tumultuous and violent conduct and thereby intentionally or recklessly creates a grave risk of causing public alarm.
(2) Riot is a Class C felony. [1971 c.743 §218]

Governor's authority over Oregon National Guard:
Universal Citation: OR Rev Stat § 396.125 (2017)
(1) The Governor of this state, by virtue of office, is the Commander in Chief of the militia of this state, and may issue military regulations for the governance of the militia. Military regulations issued by the Governor shall have the full force and effect of law. To the extent a regulation issued under this section conflicts with any other law of this state, the regulation shall supersede the conflicting law.
(2) In issuing regulations under this section, the Governor may give consideration to the laws and regulations of the United States relating to the organization, discipline and training of the militia, to the provisions of this chapter and ORS chapters 398 and 399 and to the laws and regulations governing the United States Army and United States Air Force.
(3) The Governor may delegate to the Adjutant General authority to issue the regulations described in this section for the governance of the militia. [1961 c.454 §6; 2005 c.512 §1; 2013 c.81 §1]

Current strength of the Oregon Military Department is 5,450 Army and 2,350 Air, for a total of 7,800 officer and enlisted personnel. The order of battle includes two infantry battalions, two mechanized cavalry squadrons, a field artillery battalion, a combat engineer battalion, and support and service elements, as well as two F-15 fighter squadrons; equipment holdings include 117 armored fighting vehicles, including 40+ tracked and 80 wheeled, which includes ~30 M-1 Abrams MBTs, as well as 20 helicopters and 54 F-15 fighters.

The sworn (law enforcement) personnel of the Oregon State Patrol number more than 400 (with another 700 civilian); there are other state law enforcement agencies as well.

I'd bet on Gov. Brown, who beat the Republican candidate in 2018 by six percent.

Deny them a quorum.

2003.

Once I was running a student government meeting with exactly a quorum. A measure was going to pass over the objections of a couple of members (that's how it works with votes--sometimes you lose). So one of them said he was going to the bathroom and left. The door was barely closed when his buddy asked for a quorum call. The call failed. I suggested we would just wait until the bathroom guy returned, and his buddy, grinning, said he was going to use the bathroom at his apt. and wouldn't be back. I adjourned the meeting, there being nothing else I could do except try to get other members to show up.

Because I think that particular aspect is what makes this incident "not like the others".

If so, that's what their constituents need to do call their offices and threaten them with that.

Dems went into hiding. Of course, no militias were involved. I just can’t remember all of the particulars.
