(34,136 posts)They were correct - the public and the people who are supposed to monitor these vulnerable children have never known where all of them are or where they are going. There was never any intention of the assholes in charge to return the children to their relatives. Now we see that they never planned on treating them as human beings and in fact treat them worse than most animals are treated - except the animals headed for slaughter.

'Hundreds of migrant children have been transferred out of a filthy Border Patrol station in Texas where they had been detained for weeks without access to soap, clean clothes or adequate food, the authorities confirmed on Monday, suggesting that worsening conditions and overcrowding inside federal border facilities may have reached a breaking point.
The move came days after a group of lawyers was given access to the station in Clint, Tex., about 20 miles southeast of El Paso, and said they saw children as young as 8 caring for infants, toddlers with no diapers, and children who said they were waking up at night because they were hungry.'>>>

(34,136 posts)Leaving about 30 in there yesterday. Now 100 children have been moved back into a facility that is approved for holding 105 people - which would seem to have it holding 25 more than it is approved for. And with no attempt to improve sanitation, caretakers, or medical care.
