So all these people here think so much of themselves that they put up a monument. I think we could put my name on it, right down the side there, maybe every side. T R U M P right there it would be great. Maybe the next President, I mean they are going have a hard time compared to my legacy...maybe they will leave my name up there

but we often try to channel our subjects' stupidity, greed, dishonest nature, etc., all for satirical pur[poses.

So, no, he didn't say that, but the joke is that he would if he thought he could get away with it.

...before, it becomes increasingly difficult to tell truth from satire, let alone outright lies - oops, I suppose I should have said “alternative facts.”
