Putin and Trump met privately for nearly an hour...

What did they talk about?

Obviously, from reports, they did not spend much time talking about "meddling" in the election. Trump later joked about it when asked a question by a reporter. Like Tom Sawyer, he keeps trying to whitewash his story.

He still does not believe that Russia interfered in our elections. It doesn't matter how much proof he is shown.

So, what did they discuss?

Business deals? Money laundering? Nobody knows. All anyone knows is that Donald Trump is a pathological liar and it would not be wise to believe a word that he says.

Was anyone at the meeting besides Donald Trump? If not, no American should feel secure.

He and Putin laugh about it.
He just doesn't want to admit it to Americans.

In fact, I've been terrified by this whole thing since first catching wind of this stuff in the 2016 campaign. I can only imagine how people who know the full sordid details (Mueller, active and retired intelligence professionals, both civilian and military, and any others whose job it is to worry about our national security) must feel.

Trump and his enablers and supporters are a clear and present danger to our country. Russian meddling wouldn't be nearly so serious a threat if this so-called administration, or the Republicans in Congress, had any interest in fighting it - if they weren't so determined actually to encourage the meddling and to block any attempts to investigate or thwart the meddling.

What Trumputin did in 2016 (and have continued ever since) is an assault. It is war.

Which makes it even more outrageous that this so-called administration has done nothing of consequence to stop it, in fact has seemingly encouraged it, and has blocked all attempts by others to address the problem.

Trump preemptively nukes Iran and while everyone is distracted, Russia invades Ukraine and The Baltics.

not the kind we have had in the past. What he wants is to divide the U.S.A through turmoil and divisions, even a race war. That's why he put trump in office, and trump is doing his dirty work every single day.

Once trump leaves office, one way or another, Putin knows it will take years, and years to undo the mess trump left behind, and that will give him plenty of time to do whatever he wants in the rest of the world.

Balderdash. Of course he believes it. He welcomed the interference; aided and abetted the interference. He just doesn't want to admit to it.

They smiled and shook hands a lot, but I think that covers most of their meeting.

As usual, Trump understood not a word of what Putin said, and no one within ten miles understood a word of what Trump said.
