It made me go outside to look around. When I returned inside it was still shaking, but less so. Lasted for more than a minute.

greater effect in Centennial Hills and Lone Mountain area and that would be because of the Soils makeup. Still some movement as I type.

It seems to be over and done in eastern Henderson. The west side seems to have got it worse and longer.

Won't be very strong. Can imagine Beatty and Furnace Creek Areas most likely have some issues,especially the road from Beatty into the Park.

as jelly-like when the Northridge earthquake happened. and those streets had the most damage.

side of the Valley,we have nothing but Caliche or Gypsum for subsoil,and that acts like a Drum Head and Amplifies any ground movement. Each time there is blasting at the Gypsum Mine on Blue Diamond Mountain,we always feel the shock and we are some forty miles away.
