Salient point re: bail from Rep Ted Lieu

The Epstein case is another example of the irrationality of money bail. How dangerous a person is has no relation to cash on hand. Rich people also can flee in a way that poor people cannot. We need to move to a straight risk assessment & eliminate money bail.#SundayMotivation

He's worth more then a billion dollars on paper, but he has a lot more 'questionable' money buried offshore.

he's a 100% flight risk. Think he cares about 100 million versus never getting out of prison? Poof. He's gone.

This is an easy one to predict. Epstein will get out on bail, flee the country and take refuge anywhere he wants. The upside is any evidence they discover from the search they did of his property which can then be made public if they try him in absentia. But this 'Lolita Express' involves too many powerful men to ever see the light of day. Sorry, but we are now getting to see the reality of the billionaire class. They can do whatever they want because they are billionaires. On the other hand, the rest of the 'little people' have to abide by the rules.
