How to deal with a spoiled brat. Ignore their crap and say no.

You know - he would be in the worst emotional agony of his life if Americans, other than those who faithfully follow him because they won't, stopped paying attention to him.

Spoiled brats demand attention - even negative attention. It's what makes them feel powerful. They are master provocateurs.

Think about a 7 year old who manipulates one parent against the other and all they do is fight. The brat is either doing it to get their way, and/or for the entertainment value because they're bored. They are in control though, always.

That's what he does to Americans as a collective, tv and social media are his tools.

He's used those tools (with Russia's help) to divide us into warring factions, says/tweets something outrageous and insulting to whip us into a frenzy, then does whatever the hell he wants. The fight is like heroin to him and his cult.

We, those who sees him for who he is, must stop the madness. They cycle we're in will never end otherwise - the cycle of media reporting an atrocity of his, then he tweets something that starts a cacophony of back-and-forth-fighting between his cult and the rest of us. A cacophony that drowns out what matters.

Don't think that by fighting him and his cult head-on we can win. It doesn't work that way.

Fights just give the spoiled brats power and a chance to get away with everything.

We must take his power away.

IGNORE HIM.

Then tell him NO.

VOTE him gone.

1. It isn't our choice to make. The media CAN NOT and WILL NOT ignore him.

But as with this George Lakoff article I posted earlier, we have to find better ways of countering him.

Each one of have to stop allowing his tools to work on us emotionally.

Ignoring him means ignoring his tools too.

back to me not applicable. But, no, WE do not CONTROL the media or their messaging, despite the RW's attempts to suggest otherwise (or at least that George Soros controls them).

The very well reasoned Lakoff piece is thought-provoking and I think you would enjoy it.

His rhetoric matters because it reinforces every bigoted notion squirming through the minds and souls of his ever devolving base.

Every public evacuation of his face bowel weaponizes another hate-addled minion.

Yes its uncomfortable, yes its exhausting. But we must continue to shed a light on his foulness--because his supporters and recently regretful voters, that WE personally know, ignore it.
