By the time we get to Impeachment

Our House Dems will have a list of reasons why a mile long, with evidence to back it all up.

That kind of work - an airtight, solid case built on a variety of infractions - takes time.

They're in case-building mode now.

The impeachment process has to be done strategically or it may not have the outcome we want.

How strong or deep the case is, it is still up to the senate to try the case, if anyone thinks they will convict him they haven't been paying attention.
The main and really only reason to do it is to put them on record "again" of not giving a fuck what he does.

Americans must be the deciding body, and may be at the voting booth.

Impeachment gets trump a pence pardon... voting trump out of office most likely gets putin's puppet prison time...

Just seems to me it would consume the media and leave our primaries and candidates with scarce attention. I guess if you see impeachment as our only 2020 hope, then it wouldnt matter. But, if you're like me and think an impeachment assures nothing, you believe we need our candidate(s) to have as few distracted voters as possible.

If I thought Green's articles of impeachment could prevail--meaning lead to a conviction--I'd be all aboard. I just dont see these articles as serious enough to swing Congress toward removing him. And yes, his words were reprehensible.

If he's undergoing an impeachment investigation in the run up to the election, does that work for or against him with Mr. and Mrs. Average Voter?

We know it will get out the base, but what about the rest of us?

I still think that the outcome of all of this will be another Mueller Report - a lot of hope with paltry results.

Excuse my pessimism while Republicans dismantle democracy on a daily basis with absolutely no conscience.
