It will cost them a fortune to upgrade infrastructure but very few people will be willing to pay extra for it. Is there really anyone you know that complains about the speed on their phones? As long as the signal is good, my speed is fine for anything I need to do.

Here's an idea...how about a phone that will make a decent sounding call? I know it is a radical concept but that is what I would like.

on the cell. I know it's the phone's audio circuitry because it works perfectly on the bluetooth in the car.

Phones are not for calling any more-- they are for watching movies and playing games.

from listening to this idiot speak. "We're going to have the best 5G just like we have everything else..." That means absolutely nothing. Nothing at all. First, we do not currently have the best data or cellular networks. Our coverage lags behind most of the bigger European countries, behind South Korea, and Japan.

China is developing, as a matter of national priority, a 5G infrastructure, and this moron wants private companies, whose main goal is to make the most money possible RIGHT NOW, to develop a technology infrastructure that will cost money without dividends for the next several years. Plus, we are using Chinese technology from Huawei to even roll out and maintain our own infrastructure. That was the whole flap about the Chinese businessperson jailed in Canada that Trump was into a few weeks ago, then he just went back to business as usual letting the Chinese telecom giant keep putting their tech in our wireless infrastructure.

America used to be on the cutting edge in medicine and technology. We are still obviously major players, but it seems like, especially with this complete intellectual void in office, the only thing we excel in is American Exceptionalism. We're the best because ... we're the best...

At first my reaction to him was visceral. I'd become enraged and sickened at his voice and need to throw things at the tv, soft things, because nobody likes a busted up living room TV Now it's more about the total nonsense that comes out of his mouth.

The content of what he says tends to be mealy mouth garbage and how he delivers it is even worse. The way he applies verbs to things makes me think he read a chapter or two about "how to speak business" in the 80's and decided to apply that shit to everything.
