and vote Democratic, that would be good.

But some of these oppositional voters-- my aunt is like this-- want to vote for who they think will lose, so they can bitch about it. So maybe it would be good if they think the Dems have no chance, because then they'll vote that way.

Easier to get out the base and sign up new younger voters.

She wrote in Bernie since she thought Hillary was a shoe-in. She died out of the blue in May so she won't be able to correct her error. Too bad for many all around.

we can blame bullshit polling, but it wouldn't surprise me if Trump asked his supporters to lie to pollsters the next time around to create the same effect. If we don't see a first ballot nomination, there may be a lot of hard feelings to exploit, and that may be the way to do it.
