Air conditioning isn't as commonplace as it is here.

I just checked and it is 85 in Stockholm. The normal temperature in July should be high 60's to low 70's.

Södermalm to be exact.

Overall it has been much cooler here this summer compared to the main continental part of the EU, but this week it is quite warm. Last summer was the hottest in over 500 years. It was horrid. Not as hot as France, etc this year, but still, it was terrible.

Which is nice because they're air conditioned. People with nowhere to cool off can just ride one of the circulator routes all day.

that the high temps that have always been a regular feature of Sacramento summers, are worldwide now. If people can't see that it's real climate change, there's no getting through their dense noggins!

Afternoon t-storms nearly daily this time of year.
The summer tourism trade in Europe will suffer.
I read somewhere that June of this year was the hottest June recorded
overall ever.
