(22,578 posts)Neither was he there to jump through our hoops and do exactly as WE thought he should do to bring down Trump.
The whole country did not fail. Republicans and those on the right did not fail from their perspective in voting for Trump.
I contend that the Democrats and those on the Left who chose not to vote for Clinton who failed the country. Because despite Russian interference or Republican cheating, come election day there was only 1 thing left within our power to do to stop Trump from winning, and that was to vote for Clinton.
But how many on the Left bought the Big Lie that there was no difference between Trump and Clinton, so it didn't matter who you voted for or if you voted?
How many on the Left were going to teach Democrats a lesson for not nominating their candidate.
Here in Wisconsin, thousands voted for Jill Stein--more than Trump's margin of victory. Many other tens of thousands chose not to vote at all.
So none of what has happened in this country is on Mueller
We have met the enemy, and it is us.
