For example my wife has no clue about Mueller appearing before congress and she has never
heard of Fusion GPS.

(5,528 posts)That is why the narrative is so important. What little people know about it, often boils down to the one sentence conglomeration of the general sense of what happened.
While we had no reason to expect it, a real dramatic "can't handle the truth" moment of testimony could have made a larger difference. Dramatic video is the only thing that has a chance to break through the general fog of conventional wisdom.
How do you communicate what you want to the low-info folks. I think this is one of our disadvantages as Democrats because marketing folks breath how to convey a message in the fewest , simplest words possible.
