2. We do need evidence that enough people care about. Truthfully, Americans seem fine with cheating

whether it's politics, business, getting into schools, tapping into cable feeds, using incognito to get past paywalls, cheating on exams, lying on resumes, etc.

It's one of those "Everyone does it, or they don't get ahead."

5. Trump's 'cheating' has endangered our democracy and our national security.

That's fundamentally different from cheating on exams or lying on resumes, etc.
Guess Americans don't value fair elections anymore nor their national security
so long as they can be mindlessly fed bullshit by corporate media.

been asked/forced to act, like McGahn for example.

I get it, it's not so easy to understand REAL courtroom situations compared with t.v. drama, but there is a difference, and we must recognize it, AND present it in the House, to get members and constituents to support impeachment.

8. In order to have even the slightest chance

Of actually removing Trump from office in a Senate impeachment trial where 20 Republicans plus every one of the 47 Democratic Senators would need to vote guilty, evidence that would sway conservative Democrats like Joe Manchin of West Virginia and more moderate Republicans like Lisa Murkowski of Alaska will be needed.
There may be evidence of felonies involving money laundering through foreign banks that might sway Republicans where obstruction of justice over the Russia probe doesn’t. That is why Nancy Pelosi wants to wait to see if the courts will force the release of Trump’s tax returns under congressional subpoena.

I think the political strategy is why go forward with only two bullets when you’ve got an 8 cartridge magazine?

12. I am gone out of country

And my hubby who hardly ever is involved politically watched a hour of yesterday's hearing then heard 3 different tv stations replies to it and was so angry he wanted to burn something.

He said it's obvious to him what Trump did and he was pissed at how republicans treated Mueller. He is 70 and remembers when republicans aren't like that.

I am gone until Sept so I told him to stop watching a news he was so upset.

Wonder what other Americans think?

13. The average margin of victory in House races in 2018 was around 30 percent

Over 50 of the Democrats elected won by margins that were less than half the average. Nearly two dozen won by less than 5 percent. Saying that they need more evidence is just another way of saying that they believe (and they probably have polling to support their belief) that pushing for impeachment now would harm their chances of reelection and put the Democrats control over the House at risk.
